We had so much fun with our Flights & Bites event with Cole Sisson of Doe Bay Wine Company last month, that we thought we'd offer it as a regular Friday event. Each Friday in November we'll be popping open some of our special bottle-only beverages to be featured in our Flights & Bites offerings. Three wine flights paired with a plate full of snacks.
On Friday December 1st, Ursa Minor is excited to welcome back Guest Sommelier Cole Sisson, owner of Doe Bay Wine Company. That evening Sisson will be featuring Spanish inspired wines as part of the Flights & Bites series, which will include wine flights poured by Sisson to be paired with a plate full of snacks prepared by chef Nick Coffey.
Ursa Minor is excited to announce that on Friday December 8th we will be hosting visiting winemakers Diego Roig and Shaunt Oungoulian of Les Lunes & Populis. They will be pouring a few of their wines as part of our Flights & Bites series.
Sunday December 24th, 5PM Ursa Minor is hosting an Egg Nog Social + Potluck! Please join in on this community event by bringing your favorite holiday dish to share (something with 8-10 servings is recommended). We'll be filling our large communal table with everyone's tasty dishes. The Ursa Minor bar will be open for drink purchases and will be featuring an aged Boozy Egg Nog.

Ring in the New Year on Lopez Island with a special dinner at Ursa Minor. Chef Nick Coffey is planning a unique six course Prix Fixie Tasting Menu that will feature traditional NYE dishes with a creative Ursa Minor spin. Enjoy a creative locally sourced meal that will bring you luck in the New Year, plus fill your belly before you head off to your New Year's Eve celebrations.
$65 per person + $35 optional wine pairings. Reservations required.

Ursa Minor will be a vendor at Eat Island Grown, an event on San Juan Island, which features fresh, quality products from San Juan County farms. Among other local food vendors, Chef/Owner Nick Coffey will prepare delicious bites for the public to enjoy. There will also be live music, beverages, and a live and silent auction. Proceeds benefit programs of the San Juan Islands Agricultural Guild. We hope to see you there!

In participation with Savor the San Juans, Ursa Minor will be offering a six course prix fixie Tasting Menu that highlights the Fall Harvest. Optional wine pairings available upon request. Reservations are recommended if you'd like to take part in the Tasting Menu. Head to our homepage to make a reservation.
$65 for the tasting, $35 for the wine pairings.
Fall Tasting Menu will be available October 6th thru 23rd, Friday thru Monday, 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.
